Refund Policy

When a SimpleSCEP subscription can be refunded, and how to ask.

Effective 27 August 2026.

1. The 7-day refund

Any subscription purchase is refundable in full within 7 days of the charge. That covers a first purchase, a renewal, and an upgrade — if the charge is less than 7 days old, you can have it back.

No reason is required. You do not have to have stopped using the service, and you do not have to delete anything first.

2. How to request one

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or open a ticket from the Support page in the dashboard, and say which charge you would like refunded. We process refunds to the original payment method; your bank or payment provider decides how long it takes to appear, usually 5 to 10 business days.

3. After 7 days

Charges older than 7 days are not refunded, including for the unused part of a period you cancel partway through. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in. You keep access until the end of that period.

Annual plans are treated the same way: refundable in full within 7 days of the charge, and not refunded afterwards.

4. What a refund does to your certificates

A refund ends the subscription. Certificate issuance and renewal stop, which means devices can no longer enrol — but certificates already issued remain valid until they expire, and we keep publishing revocation information about them. Nothing you have already deployed stops working the moment you are refunded.

If you want your certificate authority keys destroyed as well, say so in the same email. That is irreversible and cannot be undone afterwards, so we do not do it unless you ask.

5. Problems that are not refunds

If something is broken, or you were charged an amount you did not expect, write to [email protected] first. Most of those are fixed faster than a refund is processed, and asking does not use up the 7 days.
